Eligibility

Should have no backlogs at the time of enrollment of any of the following programs (limited by the number of seats available for concerned program in each department; no such limit exists for Honors degree, though)

Honors Degree

  • Take advance courses from your own department
  • You will have a BTech degree with honors in Civil Engineering
  • Take 6 credits of project work and 6 credits of advance courses prescribed by your department
  • When to Apply? During the 5th or the 6th semester

Minor

  • Get a flavor of a different department
  • You will have a BTech in Civil Engg with a minor in the XYZ department
  • Take 12 credits from a set of courses prescribed by the other department
  • When to Apply? During the 5th semester

Double Major

  • Get BTech degrees in two departments.
  • e.g., you will have a BTech degree in Civil Engineering and a BTech degree in XYZ Engineering
  • Take 24 credits from a set of courses prescribed by the other department
  • When to Apply? During the 4th semester

Dual Degree

Conversion from BTech to (BTech + MTech with stipend)

Apply before the start of 8th semester.

Minimum 5 years

CGPA 7.0 or above (UR) and 6.0 or above (SC/ST/OBC); no backlogs

Stipend will be paid after completion of 4 years
