CONTRIBUTIONS IN KEY PROJECTS

  1. Technical advisor to the Irrigation & CAD Department, Government of Telangana, on a prestigious and gigantic project titled 'The Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project or KLIP', a multi-purpose irrigation project on the Godavari River in Kaleshwaram, Bhupalpally, Telangana, India. The project is envisioned as the world's largest multi-stage lift irrigation project with an estimated annual discharge of more than 280 TMC.

  2. The Palamuru Ranga Reddy Lift Irrigation Scheme or PRLIS scheme was envisaged to create irrigation potential in upland areas of Nagarkurnool, Mahabubnagar, Vikarabad, Rangareddy and Nalgonda districts for an ayacut of 10.0 lakh acres. I was a technical advisor to the Irrigation & CAD Department, Government of Telangana, on some geotechnical aspects of this prestigious project.

  3. Geotechnical technical advisor to The Deputy Commissioner, Bidar, on 'Rehabilitation of Karez at Naubad, Bidar'. Karez or Qanat was an ingenious system developed in arid areas for collection, transportation, storage and distribution, with minimum evaporation loss.
