Dr. Seetha N Dr. Seetha N

Dr. Seetha N is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT Hyderabad). She joined the institute in May 2017. Her research broadly encompasses water resources and environmental engineering, with a specific focus on contaminant movement in porous media.

Her work involves multi-scale modeling (from pore scale to Darcy scale), experimental investigations into the fate and transport of emerging contaminants like nanoparticles and microplastics, and surface water quality modeling. Before joining IIT Hyderabad, she served as an Assistant Professor at IIT Bombay and was a visiting researcher at Utrecht University, The Netherlands.
